Built as one complete object: image, surface, and frame. The figure began in the sketchbook, moved onto the painted surface, and was worked back by hand before being set into an artist-built frame.

Build / image / object
Built from the ground up.
The frame is not presentation added after the fact. It belongs to the work. Reclaimed pallet wood was rebuilt around the surface so the rough grain, joints, depth, and hand remain visible.
THE SWEET SCIENCE sits between drawing, painting, construction, and object-making—the same hand responsible for the image also built the thing that holds it.
